I first met Jane with Sally and Rose at the Eco Building Exhibition. Think it was
in 2009…. I admired her for the energetic person that she was and her love and zest
for life. The wonderful thing about Jane was her thoughtfulness. She would always
check up to see how I was doing if she hadn’t called for a while she would
apologise for not getting in touch she was also a great support when I moved last
year. If we planned to meet up for a cuppa she would sometimes cancel because
of a friend who was in dire need of her help. She will be sorely missed by
those who loved her. I was so looking forward to living with her and getting to
know her better, listening to her stories about living in Egypt and of her
crewing days on board various boats, we exchanged stories a few times and I
mentally took note and thought I must find out more about this…. whatever it
was we were talking about….. I can still see her sitting on my armchair the
last time she just popped by on the off chance.
Jane was a very rich person indeed.
