Two words that come to me when I think of Jane are abundance and generosity. The image is of sitting round a table, with plenty of good food and drink to hand (in our teenage years Neil Young's Harvest was playing in the background) Jane at the centre of things, always interested, picking up a conversational thread and running with it, sometimes several threads at a time it seemed, but never judgmental, always curious and often laughing uproariously.
